Malaysia has been listed as one of the most generous nations in the world.<\/p>\n
In the Charity Aid Foundation\u2019s (CAF) World Giving Index for 2015 released in November, Malaysia was ranked in the 10th<\/sup> spot and received a score of 52.<\/p>\n The index by Britain-based CAF looks at three measures of giving \u2013 donating money, volunteering time, and helping a stranger.<\/p>\n Malaysia scored 62% when it comes to helping strangers, 58% in donating money and 37% in volunteer services.<\/p>\n CAF World Giving Index 2015: Top 20 Most Charitable Nations<\/strong><\/p>\n Image from The Star<\/p><\/div>\n Myanmar is ranked first in the World Giving Index for 2015, having previously shared this position with the US in 2014.<\/p>\n Their score of 66% achieved is the highest on record. Myanmar once again records the highest incidence of donating money (92%), and this year, it also leads the world in terms of volunteering (50%).<\/p>\n The US comes in second while New Zealand completes the podium.
