It’s that time of the year again where we greet the blessed month of Ramadan, and prepare for the festive period of Syawal.\u00a0This is the time where children tag along with their parents to shop for their Raya<\/em> clothes after iftar<\/em>, and parents start stocking up on kuih raya<\/em> and other delicacies for Raya<\/em>.<\/p>\n However, with the rising cost of living, will this year be a quiet Ramadan for Malaysians?\u00a0Bloomberg\u00a0<\/em>recently\u00a0reported that private consumption expenditure<\/a> in the country, which makes up about half of gross domestic product, climbed 6.2% in the last quarter of 2016 compared to the same period\u00a0in 2015.<\/p>\n That’s good news!
