The three-day SCxSC Fintech Conference organised by Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) is taking place virtually this year from 5 to 7 October 2020.<\/p>\n

This is the seventh edition of the event and going virtual has allowed SC to bring on board panellists from United States, Australia, United Kingdom, and the Middle East to join Malaysian experts to share insights on digital trends.<\/p>\n

This free virtual event will cover topics such as local fintech players navigating the \u2018new normal\u2019, investment behaviour in turbulent times and the role of fintech in responsible fundraising and investing.\"SC<\/a><\/p>\n

In his welcome remarks this morning, SC Chairman Datuk Syed Zaid Albar had highlighted the encouraging growth in investment activity this year.<\/p>\n

“We are pleased to see a considerable increase in individual investor participation via digital investment managers, ECF and P2P financing platforms, digital asset exchanges and online brokers,” he said.<\/p>\n
