In a statement released on 4 March 2023, the Employees Provident Funds (EPF) has announced a dividend rate of 5.35% for conventional savings and 4.75% for shariah savings for 2022.<\/p>\n
This amounts to a dividend payout of RM50.5 billion for conventional savings, and RM6.3 billion for shariah savings.<\/p>\n
The dividend payout for 2022 is the lowest since 2020, where the conventional savings dividend was recorded at 5.20%. However, the dividends paid out for 2022 is still higher than the inflation rate of 3.3% in 2022.<\/p>\n\n
