Property<\/a> development company Matrix Concepts awarded 19 units of its Levia Residence condominium to the Malaysian women’s basketball team. The condos are worth RM648,000 each.<\/p>\n

The Malaysian players and coaches had brought home the gold medal for the 2015 and 2017 SEA games.<\/p>\n

19 team members received condos<\/h2>\n

The sale and purchase agreement (SPA) signing and press conference was shared<\/a> on the Malaysian Basketball Association (MABA) official Facebook page.\u00a0 A total of 14 players, three coaches, and two MABA staff received the condominium units.<\/p>\n

Matrix Concepts founder and group executive deputy chairman Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock\u00a0 oversaw the SPA signing ceremony with MABA.\u00a0 He said the players deserved a stable home in recognition of their achievements.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese players have been with the association since the age of 13 to 14 years old. Now, they are nearing the age of retirement and [I found out that] many of them can\u2019t even afford a home,\u201d said Lee.<\/p>\n

Levia Residences in Cheras is a two-tower condominium with a gross development value of RM520 million and spans 4.74 acres of leasehold land.<\/p>\n

The property has a total of 778 units with four types of layout \u2014 Type A (767 sq ft), Type B (938 sq ft), Type C (1,109 sq ft) and Type D (1,364 sq ft). It is targeted for completion by 3Q2027.<\/p>\n

19 condos were given to the gold medalist basketball team of the SEA Games in 2015 and
