This includes any suspicious activity or claims regarding the eMadani e-wallet credit.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release on their official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KemKewangan\/posts\/pfbid02w7CTygDtMRwWuvCxSXRDHHqiYVCuNC9HUm5za6VkNRP6hHMv7hHPmKN1PocLJosgl\">Facebook page<\/a>, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) reminded all Malaysians who qualify for eMadani not to fall victim for any scams involving the e-wallet credit initiative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe government will impose strict action on anyone involved, which will include blocking access and rescinding the e-wallet eligibility for any cases involving peer-to-peer transfer or cash redemptions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The press release also stated that the main goal of the eMadani initiative is to encourage the digital economy.\u00a0 The initiative aims to inculcate the culture of cashless payments among Malaysians.<\/p>\n<h2>Beware of eMadani scammers tactics<\/h2>\n<p>Some of the tips on how to avoid these scammers shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/sebenarnya.my\/waspada-cubaan-penipuan-berkaitan-program-emadani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sebenarnya.my<\/a> are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don&#8217;t join social media chat groups offering to cash-out your eMadani credits<\/li>\n<li>Beware of any link shared to you relating to the eMadani programme or other government cash aid which are scammers trying to steal your personal details<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t join Whatsapp or Telegram message groups inviting eMadani recipients with offers of assistance and information regarding the programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/static.imoney.my\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/04173924\/sebenarnya_program_Madani.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-60104 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/static.imoney.my\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/04173924\/sebenarnya_program_Madani.jpg\" alt=\"eMadani scam\" width=\"1200\" height=\"654\" srcset=\"https:\/\/static.imoney.my\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/04173924\/sebenarnya_program_Madani.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/static.imoney.my\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/04173924\/sebenarnya_program_Madani-300x164.jpg 300w, https:\/\/static.imoney.my\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/04173924\/sebenarnya_program_Madani-800x436.jpg 800w, https:\/\/static.imoney.my\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/04173924\/sebenarnya_program_Madani-768x419.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hence why the e-wallet credit can\u2019t be transferred through peer-to-peer transactions or cash redemptions.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nst.com.my\/news\/crime-courts\/2023\/12\/985516\/scammers-want-e-credit-pie\">New Straits Times<\/a>, unscrupulous scammers have already circled around unsuspecting eMadani recipients, hoping to cheat them out of their share of the eMadani credit.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the methods the scammers are using is advertising a Telegram group link, and saying that eMadani recipients may join this group to cash out their eMadani credit. These services also offer to charge a five percent fee to help recipients to cash-out their credits.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imoney.my\/articles\/rm100-ewallet-claim\">Read More :
