The Securities Commission has made several updates to their Investor Alert List, adding more companies that the public should be wary of.<\/span><\/p>\n The Investor Alert List is a list maintained by the Securities Commission, and the list contains a collection of unauthorised websites, investment products, companies and individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n The most recent updates were made on the 1st, 8th and the 25th of April, and also on the 2nd of May.<\/span><\/p>\n The updates contained these companies;<\/span><\/p>\n In their <\/span>updates<\/span><\/a>, the Securities commission also added some remarks regarding their entry of BelleoFX as a potential clone entity.<\/span><\/p>\n A potential clone entity is an entity that impersonates legitimate entities.<\/span><\/p>\n They stated that,<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cThe SC through its surveillance efforts has uncovered a network of 54 Telegram channels operating under the name “Belleo FX” suspected of offering illegal investment schemes.<\/span><\/p>\n They also added that these public telegram channels were enticing investors with promises of unrealistically high returns within a short time frame.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cFor instance, these channels offer investment packages with initial investment ranging from RM300-RM15,000, promising returns between RM7,000 and RM600,000 within 3 hours,\u201d said the Securities Comission.<\/span><\/p>\n The Investor Alert List is a list of unauthorised entities or individuals, and acts as a warning against the public to not deal with them.<\/span><\/p>\n The list is also updated periodically, so if you want to see if there\u2019s any new updates to the list you can check out the full list right <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Securities Comission has updated their list a few times over the past couple of months, with each update adding more and more names for the public to avoid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":51,"featured_media":63276,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1,216],"tags":[1579,2072,1373,479,1374],"class_list":["post-63275","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-investment","category-news-updates","tag-jangankenascam","tag-investor-alert-list","tag-sc-malaysia","tag-securities-commission","tag-securities-commission-malaysia"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n\n
